Well, Blogger went and did it again. They've changed their photo format to make it even more difficult to upload larger photos! Blogger...You're on notice! I will be shopping around for a new blog in the days to come, but in the meantime I've decided to showcase Elizabeth and Andy's wedding photos in a slideshow rather than in the itty-bitty size Blogger wants me to show.
The funny part about this story is that I've know Elizabeth since we were in a band together! Well, it wasn't so much "a" band as it was "the" band...at Dublin High School. And we didn't really "play" in the band so much as "twirl flags" with the band. But I digress. It was providence that Elizabeth and I crossed paths after many years just before she and Andy got engaged. They chose a beautifully sunny November day for their wedding at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Upper Arlington. After the ceremony, we all headed to the reception at the brand new Jason's of Worthington.
The music was all done by friends of Andy's, the John Schwab Band . Although at one point, Andy (who is incredibly musical) took over the mike! As if live music and a wedding party that jams together wasn't cool enough, Andy's daughter, Chase hopped up and did a version of "Walking on Sunshine" that made everyone say "Hannah Who?" Seriously...Andy told me she was good. And at first I thought, "Sure, she's good...but in front of 200 people?" But when she started to sing...She blew everyone away! She's got talent...and she's going to need a good agent one of these days!
Elizabeth and Andy, Thank you so much for the honor of being a part of your incredible day! The two of you (and Chase) are truly blessed to have one another. Congratulations!
Now for the slideshow!
